(2) If you use eBay to buy postcards or pens (as I do), you can enhance your bidding strategy by using a tool like Gixen Auction Sniper to automatically place bids. Gixen is so much cheaper than its alternatives and, in my experience, works very well. There’s a free limited version and an unlimited version that costs only around $9/year and includes API access!
