My Experience

This is an app that pays you to think about your finances. Here’s what you do:

  1. Sign up with my referral link – no ID required but you need to verify your identity with a phone number.
  2. Link an eligible account. Chime or SoFi work as eligible accounts or open an account with their partner bank through the app
  3. Receive a $5 sign-up bonus
  4. Complete financial tutorials every week to earn cash. They say active users earn $50 in 3 months.

The tutorials and quizzes are pretty easy. You do have to answer the questions correctly, though – so don’t answer randomly.

The downside is that there is a $50 withdrawal minimum, so you’ll have to do a number of the quizzes in order to earn any money. I have heard that if you actually open a new account with one of their partner banks (e.g., ELGA Credit Union or Michigan State University Federal Credit Union) through the app (instead of linking to an existing eligible account), Debbie may “fast-track” you to increase your balance to $50 within a week or two. No guarentees – YMMV.

I don’t know how much money you can earn. Presumably, you reach an end of the quizzes eventually.
